Dunc Young
About me
Hi! Thanks for looking at me! Really, I love the attention.
My name is Duncan Young (Dunc Young professionally) and I'm an Actor, Improviser, and Clown based of out Los Angeles, CA.
My acting story begins in early 2019 when I signed up for an Improv 101 class at Rise Comedy in Denver Colorado because I thought I was clever and grew up watching too many Whose Line is it Anyway? reruns. Within a year, I'd found myself on multiple short-form and long-form improv teams, taking regular improv classes during the week, doing workshops on the weekends, and catching shows of some of my favorite teams in-between! I quickly realized that I was made to be an improviser and that the art form will be a part of who I am until the day I die.
As my journey progressed, I realized that the emotional and vulnerability side of improv was where I had the most fun and where I excelled (what a wonderful combination to find), which led me to start dramatic acting classes at Babcock Studios in Denver. There at Babcock studios I really refined my skills and start auditioning for Denver based projects, when I discovered that I am marketable and enjoy the work so much that I could definitely devote a large chunk of my life to it.
The realization of my dream to Act professionally and the capability to do so inspired a move out to Los Angeles, California, where I preside currently. I love to share my goofy ideas and real emotions on stage and in front of the camera. Come check out one of my live improv/clown shows, or hire me for your Project! I'd love to work with you.
